In November 2016, The PREDICT survival model ( was one of only two breast cancer prognostic models out of 30 reviewed that were endorsed by the AJCC (American Joint Committee on Cancer) as meeting all quality inclusion criteria for clinical use.

The PREDICT model was developed in 2010 by a team of Cambridge-based breast cancer clinicians and scientists led by Professor Gordon Wishart. The model is now used internationally, and the freely available website is currently visited by more than 20,000 user per month.
